Synopsis

How can designers respond to the climate emergency through the choices they make? Materials: An Environmental Primer serves as both a handbook and a call to action, examining the impact of common building materials and exploring strategies for more sustainable practice. Edited by Hattie Hartman and Jo Jack Williams, it brings together expert voices to provide practical guidance and critical insight, making it an invaluable resource for architects, designers, and students seeking to work responsibly in a resource-strained world.
